About Us:
History
CSI is a privately held company with corporate offices in Crystal Lake, Illinois and a Customer Support Center in Plano, Texas. Marshall Handelsman founded the company in 1993, with the goal to provide heat treating, finishing, galvanizing and coating job shops with an easy to use software program that's affordable and would help them to manage their business activities more efficiently. Prior to forming CSI, Marshall spent over 20 years developing and installing software systems for these industries. This experience was to become the foundation upon which Visual Shop was built.
Early Years
In the Spring of 1996, Visual Shop was introduced. At last, heat treaters, finishers, galvanizers, and coaters had a windows based product that was developed for them. They no longer had to make do with a job shop-manufacturing program. Since that introduction in 1996, Visual Shop installations now number well over 350, we currently are in 8 different countries, and are growing each day.

Mission Statement
To provide the heat-treating, coating, galvanizing, NDT, painting, and finishing industries with an affordable and comprehensive software package. The software will;
Be affordable and scalable - The system can be able to run on 1 PC or a network of many PC's.
It can provide both the small and large customers with the features and benefits that they need.
Utilize mainstream "off the shelf" hardware and software.
Make use of modern technology to solve today's problems.
Be well supported and constantly improved upon.
